UFabrik has appointed IGEPA Hungária as its distributor in Hungary, expanding the digital textile manufacturer’s European distribution network.
The agreement will see IGEPA Hungária introduce the UFabrik range to customers from its operations in Budapest and Nyíregyháza, providing local stockholding, technical support and wide-format materials in widths up to 5m.
The appointment follows a number of UFabrik distributor additions during 2026 as the company expands its presence across Europe.
IGEPA Hungária is part of the IGEPA Group and has more than 30 years’ experience in the Hungarian market. Its activities span printing papers, industrial packaging materials, office communication products and visual communications products for the sign and digital print sectors.
The addition of UFabrik gives the distributor a digital textile portfolio compatible with UV, solvent and dye-sublimation ink technologies, covering applications including backlit and frontlit displays, blockout, backdrops, SEG, banners, flags and other soft signage.
“We evaluated several manufacturers and found that UFabrik combines high-quality textiles with stable, continuous production. Our colleagues in the IGEPA Group, particularly in Poland and the Czech Republic, have already achieved significant success with UFabrik, which gave us extra confidence. We are pleased to follow the same path in Hungary,” said Anita Szabó-Botrágyi, VISCOM business unit manager at IGEPA Hungária.
IGEPA Hungária is building local inventory around products including blockout, blackback, backlit, flag and stretch textiles. Rolls in 3.2m and 5m widths will be held as standard stock items, targeting large-format and seamless textile applications.
The distributor will also provide colour profiles and guidance for UV, solvent and sublimation printing, supported by UFabrik’s technical specialists on printer settings, colour management and applications where required.
Ms Szabó-Botrágyi said the company sees particular potential in dye-sublimation applications, SEG frame systems and large-format backdrops, with demand for textile-based print growing across the Hungarian retail, exhibition and events markets.
“Soft signage is an extremely important and growing part of our market, and UFabrik gives us a strong platform from which to develop this area of our business,” she added. “We see UFabrik as an important part of our long-term growth in soft signage.”
