French music merchandising specialist SNA GZ has expanded its textile production capabilities with the installation of Kornit Digital’s Atlas Max Plus technology.

The investment increases SNA GZ’s textile production capacity by 150%, or 2.5 times, as the company responds to growing demand for music merchandise, ecommerce fulfilment and print-on-demand production in France and Europe.

Based in France, SNA GZ is part of Czech-based GZ Media, a major manufacturer of vinyl records. The company provides manufacturing, merchandise production, on-demand textile printing, ecommerce logistics and fulfilment services for record labels, artists, brands and entertainment companies.

SNA GZ said the expansion reflects the growing use of preorder campaigns, lean inventory models and on-demand production in the music merchandise market.

“We chose digital printing from the outset because it required less setup, eliminated minimum order quantities, and perfectly matched the evolving ecommerce and preorder models our customers were increasingly adopting,” said Clément Baumelou, managing director at SNA GZ. “With Kornit, we’re taking the next step. Beyond expanding our production capacity, this investment enables us to support the market’s shift toward more agile, responsive, and on-demand business models. It fully aligns with our ambition to provide an integrated solution that combines manufacturing, merchandising, and ecommerce fulfilment.”

Kornit said SNA GZ selected the Atlas Max Plus in part because of its integrated pretreatment process and All-Inclusive Click commercial model, which the companies said can simplify workflows and provide greater production cost predictability.

The platform also offers expanded colour capabilities, with CMYK plus Red and Green inks, allowing SNA GZ to move selected production from screen printing to digital printing.

The company said it expects to upgrade to Kornit Atlas Matrix technology in the future, potentially expanding production into polyester applications such as music merchandise and jerseys.

“SNA GZ demonstrates how modern merchandise producers are combining digital production, fulfilment, and ecommerce logistics to create highly agile customer-focused manufacturing environments,” said Guy Yaniv, president of Kornit Digital Europe. “Their innovative approach reflects the growing convergence of entertainment commerce, print-on-demand production, and digital textile manufacturing.”
